Robert Neal started Seafarer Marine Engineering in Picton 17 years ago and has been providing marine services to the local commercial operators including water taxis, fishing fleets, commercial barging companies and to private boat owners.
His son Samuel has been working for Seafarer 5 years, undergoing his Marine Systems Engineering training (which he has now all but completed) to be a fully qualified team member. Hamish, Roberts second son is also now at Seafarer and well into his Marine Systems Engineering training.
Karen came to Seafarer 5 years ago and can be found in the office looking after the accounts.
Robert has established agencies including Volvo Penta marine commercial engines, Hidea Outboard Engines, Racor filters, Oil Intel (Total Oils), Kohler Gensets to name a few. Seafarer services the Picton, Waikawa & Havelock Marinas servicing all types of Diesel/petrol marine engines, stern drives, gearboxes & gensets. We also offer general marine welding & machining services.
